born in VIENNA. studies five years photography at the HÖHERE GRAPHISCHE, then pictorial design at the HOCHSCHULE FÜR ANGEWANDTE KUNST. various jobs in the film industry including a one year stay in LOS ANGELES. after writing and directing a lot of short films his first full length feature film was presented at the CANNES FILM FESTIVAL. further feature films follow, as do music videos and commercials. several awards like "CLIO", "VENUS", "TOP SPOT" and the "THOMAS-PLUCH-SCREENPLAY-AWARD". nominated for the AUSTRIAN STATE PRICE FOR CORPORATE FILMS. numerous publications and exhibitions as a photographer. lives in VIENNA as a fine-art photographer, screenwriter and filmdirector.
